ONLINE QUALITY ASSURANCE
SURVEY
A colleague of ours is
preparing a presentation entitled, "Quality Care
Delivered", to be given at the 2004 SROA Meeting in
Atlanta. She is
collecting data on what quality initiatives are
currently being tracked in our respective
departments.

ROPE DATABASE
The Radiation Oncology
Performance Enhancement (ROPE) Database is an online
application service provider (ASP) solution that can be
accessed via any workstation, laptop or PDA with internet
access. The ROPE tracks, measures and reports on
recommendations made by accrediting organizations such
as JCAHO, ACR, ACRO and the AAPM Task Groups. The ROPE
is a great QA comparison analysis tool for network sites as
well as a benchmarking tool for clinical and technical
processes. It works in conjunction with our web
portal that provides documentation for compliance. For
